Mark Sullivan
Mark Sullivan is a principal writer and founder of Manhattan Literary. He also runs the day to day operations here. Mark was born in Manhattan and educated abroad and then at Columbia University, where he received an undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature. Afterwards, he studied Italian Literature at Columbia ‘s Graduate School of the Arts and Sciences. He then went on to study classical music composition at The Juilliard School, in Manhattan, before he entered what was to become an extensive career in American book publishing.
Mark has 20 years in the field and is a prolific writer and co-author of various books with prominent publishers.

William P. Lazarus
William P. Lazarus is an independent, senior writer working with ML. He holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from Case Western Reserve University (ABD), a Master’s in journalism/sociology from Kent State, and a B.A. in Journalism from Kent State. He has taught at Yale, Case Western Reserve, and other elite schools. Lazarus also worked for years as a journalist and is a Nascar / ISC car-racing specialist, in addition to being a published authority on the history of the monotheistic religions.
